Nemerle for OOP Programmers Introduction

Welcome to the "Nemerle for OOP Programmers" course. This course aims to provide a solid introduction to Nemerle for developers that already have proficiency with an object oriented programming (OOP) language, especially C#, Java or C++. Care has been taken, though, to make the explanations clear, and simple enough even for VB programmers ; )

Each week, one PDF file (or maybe two, depending on the material), will be sent via the course mailing list. This PDF contains both the contents and the "homework" for a given week.

Mailing lists

This course has a special mailing list, where all members are registered by the course leaders. This is the main place to ask questions and get answers, so everyone can learn from others. So, please, use the mailing list provided and you'll receive an answer very soon.

The mailing list for this course is beginners-course@nemerle.org, so please update your mail program configuration so it knows it is not spam.

Exercises

Please send your exercises to michal.moskal@gmail.com, or trupill@yahoo.es (it is best to email both of them, except if you are willing to use Spanish (ask trupill) or Polish (ask michal)). These are the leaders for this course. They will try to correct them as soon as possible.

Please do not share the solutions on the mailing list - solving a problem when you have the solution laying around isn't much fun.
