for what it's worth, I'm strongly against forcing a programming style at the compiler level. a check tool would be great, for open source projects & such cases, but for writing my own little tool / apps for myself ... no thank you, takes (some of) the fun away. I think it might turn new users away from Nemerle too. my 2¢
