SDL.NET sounds (hehe) interesting,
Seems like SDL is a very popular ('standard') lib,
I ignored it before 'cause portaudio was a lot smaller ...
now that I'm looking into .NET instead, SDL looks like it's going to be it.
(Also probably can replace libsoundfile)

I'm curious, why GTK# over wxWidgets ?
