What is the status of compl1/2/3 ?  compl1.n does not compile for me
for some time. After last change it also applies to compl2.n
I recently created the makefile to test the completion engine easily.
Do compl3.n contain all the functionality of compl2.n (I can see its
result is much smaller)?
